Thymalin
No lawful US pathway
01 · Overview
A peptide bioregulator extracted from bovine thymus, consisting of a polypeptide complex that regulates immune function. Thymalin increases the functional activity of T lymphocytes, and in vitro it promoted differentiation of human hematopoietic stem cells toward mature CD28+ T cells (PMID 33237528).
Most research on Thymalin comes from Russian groups.
02 · Research summary & key findings
A Russian study of 266 elderly people followed for 6-8 years reported fewer respiratory infections and roughly 2-fold lower mortality with Thymalin, and greater reductions when combined with Epithalamin (Khavinson and Morozov, Neuroendocrinology Letters, 2003) (PMID 14523363). These results come from a single research group and have not been confirmed in independent controlled trials. In vitro, Thymalin reduced stem-cell markers and increased CD28 expression in human hematopoietic stem cells (PMID 33237528).
03 · Regulatory status
Thymalin is in the investigational stage. While preclinical and early-phase data exist, it has not received regulatory approval for clinical use in the United States.
No lawful pathway today
Thymalin is not FDA-approved and does not currently have a lawful prescription or compounding pathway in the United States, so we do not sell it and will not book a consultation for it. That can change: in 2026 FDA began reviewing several peptides for compounding.
