PEG-MGF
No lawful US pathway
01 · Overview
PEG-MGF is described by its vendors as a pegylated derivative of Mechano Growth Factor, with polyethylene glycol added in the expectation that it slows renal clearance and proteolytic breakdown and so extends systemic exposure. These pharmacokinetic expectations are general properties claimed for pegylation and have not been demonstrated for this specific compound in published studies.
It is marketed within the same unregulated research compound channel as other growth hormone and IGF-1 axis peptides and has no approved medical use (PMID 42395176).
02 · Research summary & key findings
A 2026 narrative review of performance-enhancing peptides acting on the growth hormone and IGF-1 axis places PEG-MGF in the tier with no human studies at all, alongside substantial uncertainty about the composition, dose and purity of products sold online (PMID 42395176). No published pharmacokinetic, safety or efficacy data specific to PEG-MGF were found in the peer-reviewed literature, and the parent MGF peptide itself failed to show effects on myoblasts or muscle stem cells in an independent replication attempt (PMID 24253050). The compound has not been subject to regulatory review and remains wholly investigational.
03 · Regulatory status
PEG-MGF is in the research phase with limited clinical data in humans. Current evidence is primarily derived from preclinical (animal or in vitro) studies.
No lawful pathway today
PEG-MGF is not FDA-approved and does not currently have a lawful prescription or compounding pathway in the United States, so we do not sell it and will not book a consultation for it. That can change: in 2026 FDA began reviewing several peptides for compounding. If you are working on the goal it is studied for, a licensed clinician can tell you what is lawfully available, which may be something else.

Looking for a lawful, clinician-prescribed option for athletic performance?
PEG-MGF is a research compound, is not FDA-approved, and has no lawful US compounding pathway, so we do not offer it and no clinician we work with will prescribe it. Products sold online as “research chemicals” are not made or tested to the standards required of medicines. If you are working on athletic performance, a licensed clinician can tell you at a free consultation whether an FDA-approved or lawfully compounded treatment fits you, or whether nothing does.
